SANNA DUTHIE

This short documentary follows ultrarunner Sanna Duthie through the UTS 100M in Eryri, one of the toughest mountain races in the UK.

Rather than focusing purely on the result, the film looks at the physical and mental demands of spending so long in the mountains, and what keeps someone moving when the race starts to unravel. Shot across the course in North Wales, the aim was to capture both the scale of the landscape and the much smaller moments that define an ultra: fatigue, doubt, support and persistence.

The project was filmed in a documentary style, following Sanna as naturally as possible throughout the race and building the story around the experience rather than forcing a traditional sports narrative.
